[Now that those are out of the way, Luke rests his chin in his hand and stares off to the side, lost in thought. The thing he wanted to talk to Ion about... It's been weighing heavily on his mind ever since he heard it. Luke isn't sure what to think of it, or even how to feel about it. There's a sort of happiness inside him, sure, but... he can't deny the hesitation and confusion he feels. So, after a few minutes, he opens up the journal again to ask the general populace:]

What do you think it means to have a soul?

Well, I think that really depends on what you think of when you hear the word "soul". Anyone and anything can have one...at least that's what I've been taught. It's the thing that makes us who we are, and gives us strength sometimes.

It's also the voice and presence I feel when I hold and train with my sword.

A soul lets you feel emotions and help others when they need it. It helps you to decide what's right and wrong and if you screw up on something, your soul helps you to find your way to make things right.
