008 [Action/Voice]

[Luke had been trying to get back to House 5, but it's awfully hard to do so with a sudden crowd of people. There's a whole slew of sounds coming from the journal as if Luke's right in the middle of the crowd, along with Luke himself switching between trying to be polite and being outright indignant about being pushed through a sea of people. One can hear him saying "Excuse me" and "Sorry", along with "HEY" and "WATCH IT, YOU JERK".

Eventually, though, the noises fade as Luke escapes and slides down the wall of a house that he decided to take refuge behind. With a loud sigh, Luke straightens his jacket and speaks to the journal, ignoring the light pain in his abdomen from his still healing wound.]

What a pain...

Guy, Asch, Natalia, I don't think I can make it back to the house. I'll just camp out or something, okay?

[Maybe he can find some marshmallows and make some awesome smores or something. Away from the sudden crowd.]

[Luke's gut instinct tells him to say that no, he's not okay, and to snap his head away. But that's just irritability and he knows it, so he bites it down and rubs the back of his neck as he looks at the crowd still milling about.]

[After Luke informs the rest of house 5, he tilts his head back against the wall and stares up at the sky with irritation. What a pain. WHAT A PAIN. WHAT A- Hey there's some green in the corner of his eye.

[That makes Luke look down at the toaster and raise an eyebrow. Did that toaster just...

... He feels a bit silly, so he looks back to make sure no one's watching before he leans over towards it a little.]

[You know what sucks? Finding yourself in a weird, new, fricking CROWDED environment when you're supposed to be reforming the Order of Lorelei! But you know what's worse? Having it snowing and cold and being in a goddamn DRESS.

But you know what's awesome? Plowing through the crowd and the snow atop a huge stuffed puppet. That's exactly what Anise is doing right now, shouting back at the people with enough gall to swear at her and Tokunaga.]

[Well, he definitely recognizes that voice. He snaps his head up and peeks around the house to see just about what he expected to see. Oh boy... At least Anise found a new way to get through a crowd?

Luke uses the wall as support to stand himself up, then shouts after her.]

[Someone else is fleeing the crowd, although in his case, it's more so he doesn't get trampled. Pikachu comes careening around the corner, up and over Luke's head, then stops a short distance away.]

[Luke was just cursing his luck when the yellow rat... thing comes screeching around the corner and right towards him. A monster? And he didn't even bring his sword- He clenches his fist and leans back-

Only to have the mouse thing leap over his head. Luke blinks and stares ahead, then shakes his head and turns to look behind him, only to see the strange rat sitting there and not attacking him. Not a monster?]

[That shrill, annoying voice... Luke instantly recognizes it, and he turns his head sharply to see-]

[Okay, he can't help it - he has to reach over to give Mieu a scritch behind his ears. It's been months, and... well, he has to admit, he misses the little dude.]

[Mieu? Mieu mieu! One little guest Cheagle has suddenly found its master so what does Mieu do? He goes and starts following his Master (because who needs to be shoved through a crowd when you can float above it?) So when Mieu hears Luke talking into a book, he appears in front of Luke with a look of concern.]

[Another pet thing! Luke looks up sharply from his journal to look at the Cheagle in front of him, and- oh, he can't help it.]

Mieu? ... Hey, Mieu! [He reaches forward to scritch behind the ears/wings/things. Sure, having Star as a pet is nice, but nothing fills up that annoying void quite like Mieu does.]

1. Asch grinned.

2. Asch waved wildly.

3. Asch called him Luke right from the start.

Luke knows he shouldn't just pick up stuff from the ground and eat it. But CAKE. He's missed it for so long!

[ Adol is feeling pretty determined to look around and talk with anything that moves, or at least anything that he sees within the next two seconds. It just so happens that that "anything" is Luke.

Adol walks up to Luke and introduces himself as Adol Christin, an adventurer. He asks if Luke has been in Luceti for a long time and whether he knows the area well or not. ]

[Luke stares up at him and wonders why in the world he'd introduce himself as an adventurer, of all things. He responds that his name is Luke fon Fabre, with no extra title or anything. He goes on by saying that he's been here for a few months, and yeah, he knows it fairly well. Enough to get around, anyway.]

[Some derp in red pops out out of the crowd nearby, also looking righteously annoyed. He shakes his fist at someone in the crowd.] Did you have to push?!

[Whatever, they're gone now. He notices Luke hiding over there.]

... Hey, are you okay?

[At first, Lloyd blended in pretty well with the crowd, so Luke didn't really notice him. But once he heard that question directed at him, he looks up and-RED.

... Anyway, he gives a sheepish smile and scritches at his cheek as he glances at the crowd.]

Y-Yeah, I'm okay. I was just... trying to get away from all of them.
