008 [Action/Voice]

[Luke had been trying to get back to House 5, but it's awfully hard to do so with a sudden crowd of people. There's a whole slew of sounds coming from the journal as if Luke's right in the middle of the crowd, along with Luke himself switching between trying to be polite and being outright indignant about being pushed through a sea of people. One can hear him saying "Excuse me" and "Sorry", along with "HEY" and "WATCH IT, YOU JERK".

Eventually, though, the noises fade as Luke escapes and slides down the wall of a house that he decided to take refuge behind. With a loud sigh, Luke straightens his jacket and speaks to the journal, ignoring the light pain in his abdomen from his still healing wound.]

What a pain...

Guy, Asch, Natalia, I don't think I can make it back to the house. I'll just camp out or something, okay?

[Maybe he can find some marshmallows and make some awesome smores or something. Away from the sudden crowd.]

I don't know, you were pretty bad. It's a good thing I was there to keep you from poisoning your friends.

I don't poison anyone! [Oh Luke, you're so easy to troll. He looks indignant for another few seconds before he relaxes and sighs.] ... But you did help me out a lot. Thanks.

...don't mention it. [What are you thanking him for? It's not like he helped because he wanted to do something nice or something. /tsuuuun]

Hey. Everything turned out all right when that experiment ended, right? For you and your friends?

[fabrecation]

Yeah. I stopped singing, Guy and Asch got back to normal... [And Ion was back to normal, too. Which means that Noct...

... Maybe Luke can believe that Noct just lives in some kind of world other than this.]

H-Hey, um... Do you need a place to stay in while you're here?

[depressedude]

...that's good. [And that's all he's going to say about it. Given he wasn't there anymore, he's put the pieces of the puzzle together and knows what likely happened when the week ended.]

I don't really need a place. Everything here is free, even the housing.

[He is so not going to come out and just accept Luke's offer. Even if he wants to. NO FRIENDS; HE'S NOT ALLOWED TO BE HAPPY.]

Then again, with all the people showing up, there might not be much available space left...

Then you can stay with me! We've got an extra room, and I don't mind you being there... Besides, there aren't nearly as many people there than here.

...I guess I wouldn't mind it. [That is a yes.]

Are you sure your housemates will be okay with... well, I guess none of them really know who I am. And as long as the guardian or the 8th won't be there, maybe it won't be so bad.
