008 [Action/Voice]

[Luke had been trying to get back to House 5, but it's awfully hard to do so with a sudden crowd of people. There's a whole slew of sounds coming from the journal as if Luke's right in the middle of the crowd, along with Luke himself switching between trying to be polite and being outright indignant about being pushed through a sea of people. One can hear him saying "Excuse me" and "Sorry", along with "HEY" and "WATCH IT, YOU JERK".

Eventually, though, the noises fade as Luke escapes and slides down the wall of a house that he decided to take refuge behind. With a loud sigh, Luke straightens his jacket and speaks to the journal, ignoring the light pain in his abdomen from his still healing wound.]

What a pain...

Guy, Asch, Natalia, I don't think I can make it back to the house. I'll just camp out or something, okay?

[Maybe he can find some marshmallows and make some awesome smores or something. Away from the sudden crowd.]

[Luke immediately leans away a little and purses his lips over the girl getting so close. Also all the questions. And what's with the symbols, anyway?]

N-No, they got attached to us when we got here... [He leans to the side a bit to try and look at her back.] Wait, you don't have them either?

[She is not moving back any, but she's also fairly short, so it's easy to see she is in fact wingless.]

Attached? What does that mean? They aren't, like, something you started out with?

That's weird. Is it a fashion thing? I mean, they are kind of pretty! (*o*)

[Man, and just about everyone he ran into in the crowd didn't have any wings, either. How bizarre...]

... To be honest, I don't really know that much about them either. I mean, I know we get them as soon as we arrive... But I don't know why they're there or, uh... anything.

No faaair! I want wings too!

I-I don't know about that, either... I was wondering about that, too. [He looks back at his own wings - red and fading to blond at the tips.] Besides, we can't even fly with these. They're... actually kind of annoying.

So it's just for decoration? It would be cooler if you could fly, but it still looks pretty neat! (*o*) But I can see how it would be irritating after a while (^_^;)

Ahhh, maybe if I look around, I'll find a way to get wings of my own! White and fluffy and super rare~☆
