[It's cold. For one who does not like the cold very much, they can be pretty miserable. Luke walks through the village, coat unzipped but crossed over his chest and stomach, with a rather irritated look on his face. Dammit. If Guy were here he'd probably frown at him and zip up his coat before talking to him more...

He glares up at the sky and the little flakes of snow falling from it. He has his journal with him, so he slides it out of his pocket and opens it idly, turning on the video option as he keeps staring up at the sky.]

Damn, this is annoying... It feels like we barely even had fall. [He looks down at the journal now.] Does it ever seem like time's passing by really fast for everyone else?

[And thanks to him holding the journal, his coat's flapped open again. If Xion saw him, she'd definitely zip up...]

Oh...

[With that realization and idea in mind, Luke hurries over to get by a wall, as if that'll help him plan things with everyone else. Then, after some work, he gets some filters ready.]

A lot of people here know Xion, right? Well, um...

[He remembers Flynn, and how he talked about making Rapunzel's dream come true... Why can't he be as smooth as he was while doing that? There's a little blush on his face and everything... GAH. He'll just clear his throat and keep going. He's already started, so why not?]

Her birthday's coming up on the twentieth. Last time there was a surprise party for her, and I was thinking... Maybe we could do that again this year? Or something like that. October's been a pretty bad month for her. Things are getting better, but... I think she could still use something like the people who care about her celebrating her birthday.

So we could hold it... somewhere. And maybe... sometime before sunset. ... I don't really know how to do any of this stuff.

She's a really nice girl who looks out for people. But she can also be quiet and shy sometimes. [He smiles a little at that.] She likes flowers, potted ones more than the cut ones. She likes books, too... All kinds. Medical stuff, magic things... Maybe not so much romance. Fairy tales... [Heh.] She wears dresses with light colors, and blue and purple too. She really likes stuff that has to do with the ocean, too.

[Here is Norma, bundled up in a long, turtle-necked sweater/dress hybrid, leggings, and a scarf in her own home. I-It feels so cold in the house...ugh. Ugh, she hates this kind of cold. It was bad in the ice monument, too, but she only had to go there twice. After just for a few hours at a time. Does their house even have heat or whatever?! Or a wood stove?! Come on, she's freezing!]

If it is going by fast, then can it go by a little faster? Jeez, if i have to weather this kind of cold all year, I'm going to complain to those Malno-nos for sure! Or ask them for a biiiig hot tub with bubbles! I'll stay in it until it's warmer out.

[The only thing more frustrating than needing information and being unable to find it is apparently finding information and having it disappear before your eyes. Or so Van opines, frowning at the spot in his journal where there used to be a conversation and is now nothing.

He should have thought more carefully before accidentally teaching the replica how to hide things from him. Still, he saw a name. A name he thought he may have heard before, in fact.

But it will do him no good to sit around glaring at the journal all day. He stands, stretches, and goes to fetch his coat, scarf, and gloves. Perhaps a walk to mull things over will help.

Which is exactly how, some time later, he finds himself turning a corner in the road and spotting the replica.

Honestly, he doesn't know whether to be annoyed or pleased.]

[Luke is certainly not pleased to see him. By the time Van arrives, Luke's already gotten some plans down, and he's stuffed the journal into one of his pockets and criss-crosses his coat in front of him.

And once he sees his master, Luke is very tempted to just turn around and walk away, pretending that he didn't see him at all. Even though learning how to filter felt like a victory for Luke, he still felt bitter about being used once again.

But instead of leaving, he just looks away. If Van wants to talk to him, he'll have to be the one who speaks up. Luke had told him he wasn't seeking out his company anymore, after all.]
