020 [Voice/Action]
[It's cold. For one who does not like the cold very much, they can be pretty miserable. Luke walks through the village, coat unzipped but crossed over his chest and stomach, with a rather irritated look on his face. Dammit. If Guy were here he'd probably frown at him and zip up his coat before talking to him more...
He glares up at the sky and the little flakes of snow falling from it. He has his journal with him, so he slides it out of his pocket and opens it idly, turning on the video option as he keeps staring up at the sky.]
Damn, this is annoying... It feels like we barely even had fall. [He looks down at the journal now.] Does it ever seem like time's passing by really fast for everyone else?
[And thanks to him holding the journal, his coat's flapped open again. If Xion saw him, she'd definitely zip up...]
Oh...
[With that realization and idea in mind, Luke hurries over to get by a wall, as if that'll help him plan things with everyone else. Then, after some work, he gets some filters ready.]

A lot of people here know Xion, right? Well, um...
[He remembers Flynn, and how he talked about making Rapunzel's dream come true... Why can't he be as smooth as he was while doing that? There's a little blush on his face and everything... GAH. He'll just clear his throat and keep going. He's already started, so why not?]
Her birthday's coming up on the twentieth. Last time there was a surprise party for her, and I was thinking... Maybe we could do that again this year? Or something like that. October's been a pretty bad month for her. Things are getting better, but... I think she could still use something like the people who care about her celebrating her birthday.
[The fact that she was born... created. The fact that she's alive now...]
So we could hold it... somewhere. And maybe... sometime before sunset. ... I don't really know how to do any of this stuff.
[Definitely not Flynn-worthy. Guh.]

But at his question, he opens his mouth... shuts it... then opens it again with a slight frown.]
Um... if you haven't heard it, then... how would you know what to practice? [There is one song in mind. But... he's not sure how to let Brook listen to it. Because Luke definitely doesn't want to play it over the journals or anything.]

Let's just. M-Move on from that joke and get on to other things.] It's... mostly just a song that I remember. I don't have sheet music or anything. I guess I could... p-play it for you or something. [a;dslfjas;oij just saying it makes him nervous. But... this is for Xion and all.]

[Last time Luke sang it for her. But it's meant to be for the piano, so he has to find one. Which leads him running back towards the plaza and to Seventh Heaven.]

[Guess this wasn't just a quick jaunt into another room then. Well okay, he'll just be waiting here for a bit.]

Make that very nervous, as the journal comes on again to show the ceiling of the restaurant and Luke looking down at the journal with a small blush and unable to even look at the book.]
Uh... o-okay. You're... ready to hear it, right?
[filtered]
[He settles himself.] Go ahead! I'm listening.
[filtered]
[He pauses for a second, pressing his lips together... before he disappears from the journal to sit down at the bench. For a moment, he just keeps his hands clasped together and... stares at the keys. Oh god, oh god, oh god someone's going to listen to him, and someone who knows their music, too! Luke's always been particularly nervous doing anything that has to do with music in front of someone, even those he cares about... people he barely knows are even worse.
...
Okay. He can do this. This... is for Xion. He just has to keep thinking that to himself.
Luke lifts his hands to lightly play a few keys, his fingers shaking a little... Then, he shuts his eyes, takes in a deep breath, wills his fingers to stop shaking, and finally starts to play a song.
He's already so in tune to music and sound thanks to what he really is, and he's been practicing the piano for about a year now, so he's become very good now. Though the first minute seems stiff, the rest flows smoothly, as if he's playing with heart. After all, he's remembering. He remembers laying on his bed and hearing this play from the fonograph when he'd wake up scared at night, he remembers humming this to himself when he was a child, amongst other things of course... and he remembers singing this for Xion over the journals to cheer her up. She said he had an amazing voice...
Before he knows it, he's done. He lifts up his hands, and his fingers feel light... though, inevitably, they start to tremble slightly as he remembers where he is and who's listening to him, and he brings his hands back to his stomach.]
I... I think she'd like that one.
