[There's some irritated grumbling going on. Shuffle. Grumble. Shifting through leaves. Grumble. KICKING A TREE-]

Ow!

[... Grumble.

And now HI LUCETI, YOU'RE NOW SEEING THE BOTTOM OF SOMEONE'S FOOT. But it lifts up quickly, and in its place is a teenaged boy with short, scraggly red hair and green eyes staring curiously down at the journal. Aaand then it morphs an annoyed face.]

Man, this isn't even my journal... And where the hell did my shirt go?

[The person disappears and gives yet another grumble as he searches through some leaves... Then seems to resolve to find his way to the village, as his footsteps start to grow fainter and fainter. He may not know it, but he's going in the completely wrong direction of where he's supposed to go.]

Luke, stop that. Stop. Look, just- can you see any landmarks where you are?

[YES I AM and what, you're smiling and talking in a book, how is he NOT supposed to think that. Buuut he does stop with the book held up in the air to look around.]

[Those are not landmarks. ...but yeah he really is in the middle of nowhere. Dammit.]

I'm gonna come look for you; you keep this book with you, okay?

[EXPECTANT STARING AT THE BOOK. What, is Guy gonna jump out of it or something? That'd be AWESOME if he did omg]

O-Okay...

Don't move, okay? Don't. I'm going to find you. [If Guy sounds a little more intense than usual, he thinks it's understandable.

Luke. Luke.

Hurriedly he gathers a few things -one of Asch's shirts, a pair of his shoes-

Asch, did Asch know? Would he be able to find Luke? But Asch was gone and they were fighting- there isn't any time. He had to get to Luke, right then, right now.

Guy balls up the shirt, clutches the shoes and grabs the journal before taking off and not even bothering to close the door behind himself. He's going to run the entire way if it kills him.]

Uh- Yeah, okay. [Aaand he didn't jump out of the journal. Guy, you are not The Amazing Guy anymore.

Buuuut Luke obediently sits and waits, albeit impatiently. And the urge to get up and try to find Guy is tempting; after all, Luke's alone in the woods and this hasn't happened before but Guy is coming, and he wants him to get there as soon as possible... But he also knows that they'd probably just run around in circles.

So, he'll just doodle in the leaves and dirt to calm his nerves and get over his boredom.]

[Guy, meanwhile, has reached the treeline south and discovered that...he had just been quite stupid.]

...Luke? Can you hear any running water or anything?

Like a river?

[Hmmm. HMMMM.]

... Sort of, yeah. It sounds far away.

Try to make your way over to it, and let me know what direction it's flowing in.

[... Wh-What Guy, you're asking him to do this on his own-NO HE'S NOT THAT PATHETIC. Just almost.]

O-Okay... [HE CAN DO THIS. WALK WALK WALK.]

I've got shoes for you by the way. You probably need them, huh?

[Okay so now Luke realizes that talking to Guy keeps him calm, so he'll just converse with him.]

Yeah. I keep stepping on stupid ro-ow! ... stupid rocks!

[Just as planned.

Guy will pace at the treeline; he needs to catch his breath anyway, since he dashed all the way there.]

Be careful, don't cut your foot open.

I'm not going to- [FFF ROOT. Clearly, Luke isn't used to tromping around barefoot in a dense forest. With boots, yes, but barefoot?] -cut my foot open!

... My back hurts, too. ~~[SO GET OVER HERE AND MASSAGE IT]~~

I'll get you back to the house I'm staying in and you can take a hot bath. You'll feel better.

Find the river yet? [Guy's antsy to get moving again, but he doesn't want to run off without at least a decent idea of direction.]

I'm almost-UNGH!

[BRB HEADACHE]

Luke-!

[That looks so familiar...]

Luke, what is it? Is it Asch?

[Luke grits his teeth, trying to concentrate between talking to Asch and Guy at the same time. And through a head full of ringing pain at that.]

Y-Yeah, he's-if he's south- told me- y- Go north, I'm above the village!

[SCOWL. Guy snaps, though it's not at Luke.]

Asch, I know you're listening. Knock it off.

[He barely heard Guy over the ringing, but Asch did, and it makes him cut off the link rather violently. Luke gives sharp groan of pain, but looks up right after.]

Asch?!

[Sigh. C'mon Guy, smile; there you go.]

You okay Luke? You said you're above the village?

[DEJECTED FACE. But now he's focused on walking to the river again.]

I... guess I am. [Do you hear that, Guy? It's the RIVER.] And there's the river! It's going... [... Which way IS it going, Luke can't exactly tell which way is which, so he waves his hand in the direction it's flowing in.] that way.

Head downstream. I'm coming your way. [Running at breakneck speeds, more like it.]

All right. I'll meet you halfway. [AND LUKE IS... walking fast. Ish. He's still stepping on stupid rocks and twigs, but getting cut off from Asch, especially when there was no one else near him, made him feel incredibly alone and insecure. Always trust Guy to come to the rescue, though.]

[Except it was totally Guy's fault that Asch stormed off. Oh well.

It takes a while, but once Guy spots Luke he quite possible runs even faster and plows right into him, wrapping him up in a hug.]
