[There's some irritated grumbling going on. Shuffle. Grumble. Shifting through leaves. Grumble. KICKING A TREE-]

Ow!

[... Grumble.

And now HI LUCETI, YOU'RE NOW SEEING THE BOTTOM OF SOMEONE'S FOOT. But it lifts up quickly, and in its place is a teenaged boy with short, scraggly red hair and green eyes staring curiously down at the journal. Aaand then it morphs an annoyed face.]

Man, this isn't even my journal... And where the hell did my shirt go?

[The person disappears and gives yet another grumble as he searches through some leaves... Then seems to resolve to find his way to the village, as his footsteps start to grow fainter and fainter. He may not know it, but he's going in the completely wrong direction of where he's supposed to go.]

[Now he's really looking around at the village, though this is more to keep his eyes away from Guy than anything. Really, compared to everywhere else they've been to, this place is... not so impressive.]

It's not like I would've blamed you or anything... And you didn't miss much, anyway. All I did was mope around the manor.

Hey. [Guy reaches over and knocks a fist lightly against Luke's chest. Not to hurt him, just to startle him into meeting his eyes.]

I missed you. Stop being so depressed about it and believe me.

[Indeed, it does make him look back at him with a bit of a frown. HE ONLY GOT ONE LETTER. ... But Guy said he wrote like thirty letters, right? And he's always been there... heck, he came back for him when everyone else (except Tear and Mieu) abandoned him.

So, he finally smiles.]

Okay, okay, I believe you! ... And I missed you, too.

[That's better. Well, here's the house, and Guy heads in first to lead Luke inside, pausing only to take off his boots by the door.]

This is where Asch and I are living right now. Well, and you now, too.

[Except that Luke won't come inside. He stops right outside the door, just about when Guy says that Asch is living here.]

... Me? Guy, I-... I don't think that's a good idea.

[Hands on hips now, giving you a Look, mister.]

...Asch is going to want you to live here, trust me. He was just being a brat earlier.

[Luke does not find an ounce of logic in those two sentences, so he gives a Look right back.]

... I think Asch would rather be anywhere but near me. Especially living in the same place as him. [You know, since Luke kind of stole that along with everything else away from him years ago.]

[Speaking of Asch, he quite suddenly bursts through the door as if on a mission, a backpack over one shoulder, though he stops short at the sight of them standing right there. Oh. Shit. He'd been sort of hoping to be gone when they got here. :|;;]

[OH NO YOU DON'T. Guy's eyes flick to that backpack and he folds his arms. Like a boss.]

Where are you going?

[And Luke almost jumps a mile because he was so focused on Guy that he didn't really expect anything else.]

A... Asch!

[It's him, it's him! He reaches a hand out, only to hesitate, then close it in a fist and bring it back to his side. Really, now that Asch is right there, Luke is downright NERVOUS over this meeting.

... Not to mention the backpack. Which only FUELS HIS BELIEFS.]

[Asch scowls, pointedly avoiding having to look at either of them, especially Luke- that expression is downright pathetic, and only the fact that Guy would probably bitch at him for it keeps him from saying as much. He doesn't know what time this Luke is from, but it obviously isn't the confident one from Eldrant.]

I think you should reconsider.

[Seriously, because he doesn't want to talk about Things in front of Luke but he'll do it if it keeps either of you from running off. He's also very sneakily attempting to put himself in the doorframe to keep them both from doing just that.]

[Luke was just about to do that, too, though he only got as far as shuffling his feet a little. But nngh, Asch shouldn't leave his own home just because Luke arrived; if anything, Luke should find his own place and leave this for his original. Now, if only Guy would move. For now, though, he swallows his nervousness and faces Asch.]

Asch, you should stay here! This is your home, not... not mine. I'll find some place else to stay, okay?

[At that, Asch lifts his eyes to glare at his replica, the scowl returning full-force.]

What are you, stupid? You don't even know a thing about this place! Where else are you going to go?

Exactly, where else are you going to go? Asch and I will get you settled in. [Guy doesn't look away from Asch the entire time, though he's clearly addressing Luke. Come on, Asch.]

[But does he really want to live with that glare? And be insulted all the time? ... Well, it'd definitely remind him of his place in life. But still, it isn't fair for either of them.]

Look, it sounds like all I have to do is find some- empty room or house or something, say it's mine, and settle down. What's so hard about that? [EVERYTHING, but he's not voicing that.]

The fact that you're completely hopeless on your own, for one. All you'll do is sit around feeling sorry for yourself.

[Seriously, he is going to throw shit at you in a half a minute.]

That's not all I do! [Never mind the fact that that was pretty much all he did for the past month.] I went out to look for you back in Auldrant, you know!

[Asch glances sidelong at Guy, meeting his gaze for a moment before looking back at Luke. He's not ready to give an answer just yet.]

So what?

[Well, this looks handled. Guy folds his arms again and leans against the door frame, expression carefully blank.]

I did it by myself! See? I'm not completely hopeless on my own!

[But there's a flicker of a glance towards Guy. He's right... Right?]

[...Is he supposed to be impressed.]

Why the hell were you looking for me?

[Yeah of course you're right, Luke. However, as he and Asch argue Guy will calmly shut the door. Then he will take Asch's backpack away and to what is technically his room, setting it on the bed.

From there he will somehow herd them into the kitchen, and while he's not crazy enough to try and get them to sit down he will put on a pot of water for some tea and start getting out some food to prepare for the both of them. :| ]

[Luke doesn't even notice this happening; he's too busy squabbling with Asch. What's with that unimpressed look? It's a big deal trying to get to places like that all by yourself when you're really just a kid inside!]
