[When the journal opens, there's a redhead who looks as if he wants to do nothing more than climb into a bed and sleep. A good explanation for that should show itself just as he opens his mouth to speak.]

Hey –

[Because he suddenly lurches forward and coughs harshly, though he tries ducking out of view of the camera. There's a slight sniffle before he leans in again, just after he wipes his mouth and nose with the back of his hand. His cheeks are slightly flushed, too, with signs of a fever.]

I'm back. Anyone know what day it is? [And he ducks his head again to cough, though not quite as hard as before. As for the question? Because he'd really like to know how close it is to that accursed Valentine's holiday.

... But now that he's got that journal open, he pauses, looks off with an expression of uncertainty towards the village and flexes his left hand, then squints slightly as he works on a filter. Ugh, it's hard to work with this stupid foggy ache in his head. Yet he knows that it'd be dangerous otherwise, especially with the topic of his questioning.]

Could you take a look at me when I get back to the village? Something happened to me back there... [He does hate getting examined, especially for medical reasons. But this is extremely important.]

[That's a voice she knows. She'd gotten wind by this point that Luke was missing, plus that cough didn't sound good at all.]

It's the sixth of... February, I believe. [Crazy people here with their crazy calendar. pause] Luke, are you alright? Are you near the village?

[If you're sick, you need to get inside, it's still freezing out and there's even some light flurries. She may not be the best help if Luke needs support, but she could at least help him find his way back, if need be.]

No, wait. Before she can say anything, Noel needs to set up a filter. She can't have certain people connecting Luke to her, as sad as that sounds. So she'll do just that! ...awkward as the pause is.]

There. Are you okay, Luke? You look sick. [As she's saying this, she'll take a stand.] Where are you?

Contact me the moment you're within the village boundaries, regardless of if you get in touch with Jade or not. [In fact, he'll probably talk to Jade about this either way. Dist has valuable information about the replica that jade may want to take a close look at. It could help.]

She's late to this, she knows it. She can hear the other replies already. Has someone gotten him? Why did she have to be late to this, of all things? ]

The sixth. What's going on? [Kairi thinks it's better to just flat-out ask than go through the cycle of 'are you okay?', if only because she thinks Luke will be like Sora and say he's fine when it's clear he's not.]

[So. Eventually, Luke will come home, correct? Because when he does, Asch is waiting for him, reading a book at the table with Tsuae curled up and cozy in his lap. He'd heard the journal entry, so he knows that Luke is back, but he's been hesitant to contact his replica via the fonic link, ever since their last connection during the abduction itself. He'd seen very little of it- something had interfered, cutting off the deeper link as only the Malnosso can, but he'd witnessed an awful lot of miasma, so Luke's illness is no surprise to him.

He's not sure whether or not to expect Luke's return to the apartment tonight, but there's a pot stewing quietly on a hotplate in the kitchenette area, just in case.]
