Every now and then, he appears to tug at something below his wrist with a little frown before moving on ahead casually, as if he doesn't even realize that he's pretty much half naked.

At least he's got the body for this kind of thing.]



((ooc: Luke is following The Emperor's New Clothes, although instead of believing his clothes are invisible to those who are stupid or unfit, he just thinks he's actually wearing very nice clothes.))

[Considering all of the weird costumes that people have been wearing so far this week, a half-naked boy is almost blessedly normal. Almost.

Pao-lin nearly drops the cookie she's eating when she notices Luke walking into the bakery in close-to-nude as though it's the most normal thing in the world. Her face flushes a bit, and she's inclined to ignore him, because she's seen that it's difficult if not impossible for people to break out of whatever odd delusions or aesthetic additions they have as a result of this experiment.

But. This seems...kind of going too far.

So, with an ever-darkening flush on her face, Pao-lin will shuffle up beside him and tap him on the shoulder.]

[Luke is just checking out what the bakery has on display, wondering which Xion or Asch might like, when he feels that tap on his shoulder.

Man, this outfit is super thin. Not only has he been kind of cold while walking over, but he felt that poke on his shoulder as if it was skin against skin. Impressive, but kind of annoying.

At least they looked good.

Luke turns his head to looks back at who's talking to him, though he doesn't recognize her. Still, he straightens up slightly to talk to her easier, as it's the proper thing to do.]

Yeah? ... Oh, do you like these things too? [He gestures to pastries he was eying, which are rather scrumptious looking strawberry cupcakes.]

[Sabin takes a moment to sidle up next to the redhead and whistle as quietly as the Princeling can manage.]

[Hopefully Sabin won't mind Luke sidestepping with a slight scratch at his cheek once he realizes how close he is. He values his personal space and all. But once he registers what he said...]

[For a brief second he can see what he's really wearing. His eyes widen for a second... before he sees the "real" clothes again, and he lets out a small sigh.]

[Just when he almost reached the bakery, too. Luke looks back at that face, and he can't help smiling as he abandons his quest for the moment to go talk to her. His smile does seem a little confused, as her question sinks in.]

Mugged? Why do you say that? [Because to him he looks like a rich noble.]

No, seriously. Because it appears to be his almost-naked replica and that's just... not... right...]

[He was almost at the bakery when he heard her. Well... a little derail can't hurt, so he turns with a smile and heads on over!]

[And there's another redhead hiding behind a table stacked with loaves of bread. Flynnigan Kairi is currently crouched on the floor with her satchel, hiding from the crazy horses.

That makes Luke turn his head quickly to and sidestep away from the voice in surprise, as he didn't see anyone else here on his quick glance around. He recognizes that voice, too... But where -

Oh. He thinks he sees her. Luke kneels down and tilts his head to the side to get a better look at her.]

[You know what? Prince Roxas sees Luke coming toward him as the redhead's going to the bakery. And he just pauses. Stares. And wordlessly removes his traveling cloak to hand to the boy.]

[Luke takes the cloak, though with slow movements and a blank stare, as if he's wondering what Roxas is doing and why in the world he's handing him a cloak. He looks down at it for a moment... Then it seems to dawn on him, and he looks up at Roxas with a half smile.]
