[It's rather late at night when the journal clicks on. Luke had waited until he had calmed down from the nightmare he had to make the post, and good thing, too. Otherwise it'd catch the tremor he surely had in his voice.
Instead, he merely sounds subdued, and maybe a little hesitant.]
Does anyone have any good stories to tell?
Or... any advice on how to get back to sleep? [Nothing he usually does is working right now.]

[voice] the placholderiest of placeholders
Maybe it was a good thing. Because his voice makes her stir, though it takes her a while to fully wake up. For once, she wasn't already awake... ]
Luke?
[ She sounds groggy. It takes her a second to realize he's not actually there, and instead talking over the journal. She opens it up and curls up next to it, her eyes closed. All the little camera catches is darkness. ]
You okay?
[voice] i think it deserves a medal for how placeholdier it is
Nngh. She sounds groggy. Did he wake her up?]
Sorry for waking you. [Now, does he ask for her help, or try to say that he's fine? Considering how it's still dark over there...]
Yeah, I'm okay. Just having a little trouble sleeping, that's all.
[voice] I'd prefer a gold star.
[voice] ... fine fine, gold star :|
[voice] ;v;
[voice] DEMANDING.
[voice] and yet you still do it...
[voice] What if I gave you a plaque instead
[voice] that's not as cool man...
[voice] what it's totally cool
[voice] no plaques are lame B|
[voice] but you can hang them on your waaaall ):
[voice > action] WAY TO FAIL. --oh ho, ninja edit. I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE.
[action] YOU SAW NOTHING
[action] i saw EVERYTHING. LOSER.

[Voice] ALSO PLACEHOLDERING LIKE A BOSS
And since that's a familiar voice and a familiar question, he can't help but answer it.]
You can't sleep either?
[Voice] AWESOME BOSSIN'
I tried a lot of stuff already... I still can't sleep.

[Action] not a placeholder because to hell with sleep
Venturing out would earn him the following visual: Asch sitting on one seat of the couch, nose deep in one of those Dawn Age books he's always poking at, though for once he's reading a smaller, tattered-looking paperback rather than the big, complicated textbooks. A clumsy but colourful drawing of two blond boys decorate the cover, each holding a sword.
On one of Asch's feet, a little furry kitten butt is visible; someone couldn't even make it onto the couch before dozing off.]
[Action] sleep is for the weak anyway
Once his eyes get used to the brighter light (he had a lamp on, but it was rather soft compared to this), he steps up behind the couch and leans over it on the opposite side of where Asch is sitting.]
Hey... What're you reading? ["Again?" goes unsaid. Asch has been reading a lot lately...]
[Action] INDEED and we are powerful
[Action] oh we are the most powerful our power levels are like over two millon
[Action] and we have the power to go super hyperresonance
[Action] everyone else can't do it 'cause they're normal and balding
[Action] it would be nice if auldrant had dragonballs
[Action] asch and luke could be wished back to life
[Action] but only once apparently. unless they went to namek.
[Action] then they revive them over and over again
[Action] and the party is like COME ON can we wish for immortality
[Action] and namco's like NOPE that'd mean less angst
[Action] and then the group revolted and staged a coup
[Action] and it fails and luke and asch die again
[Action] their lives are so full of shit

Noel's voice makes him glance at the journal - She might see a bit of red hair, as he has a lamp with a soft light on.]
Yeah... It's not a big deal, I just can't get back to sleep.

[voice] Pommy might not get him back to sleep, but he might amuse him
Myu, Pommy can't think of any stories right now, but Pommy heard that if you drink warm milk, it might make you sleepy.
[voice] Or gross him out |D
Warm milk? Uugh... Milk's gross enough as it is!
[voice] LOL Pommy, continue failing in your lack of helpfulness!
[voice] At leat he tries!!
[voice] Points for trying? (But the points don't matter! D:)
[voice] That means he gets all the points in the world.
[voice] Pommy gets...ALL the points? *_*
[voice] ALL OF THEM.
[voice] My god...it's full of points!
[voice] And they don't matter! 8D
[voice] ...I will now go drown myself in a sea. Of points. That don't matter.

What kind of stories do you know? [And soft footsteps. Yup, he's gonna try this hot tea thing.]

As for stories... well, he could tell something, but he'd probably be better off knowing what Luke likes first.]
What's your favorite story?
[voice]
Luke blinks at that question... Then blushes, though the camera doesn't catch it, and looks away as he rubs the back of his neck.]

The scene is one she knows very well, and comes from her brush easily. It's Wep'Keer, the Oina village in Kamui. Black ink with touches of blues and grays, running with a bit of water and lots of white.]
Once upon a time, in a snowy city far, far to the north...where many say evil first took root, a tiny village is located in its center. For many long years, this village, called Wep'Keer, received the blessing of the twin mountains...the Guardian Peaks, Ezofuji.
Life was pleasant for the Oina people, who lived within the icy village...until one day a darkness swept over them, unlike many have ever seen.

When Elicia was having a little trouble sleeping, we made up a story together. Maybe we could do that right now.

[Even though he thinks he'll sleep better by listening to someone... Might as well. He hasn't done this before.
... Which explains when he speaks next.]

You know, I gave Guy a few recipes for herbal teas that can help with that. I can see if I can hunt them up?

A good workout helps, sometimes. [In that exhaustive way.] But coming up with constellations and stories behind them is a little more interesting.

But that other idea...]
