[Luke had been trying to get back to House 5, but it's awfully hard to do so with a sudden crowd of people. There's a whole slew of sounds coming from the journal as if Luke's right in the middle of the crowd, along with Luke himself switching between trying to be polite and being outright indignant about being pushed through a sea of people. One can hear him saying "Excuse me" and "Sorry", along with "HEY" and "WATCH IT, YOU JERK".

Eventually, though, the noises fade as Luke escapes and slides down the wall of a house that he decided to take refuge behind. With a loud sigh, Luke straightens his jacket and speaks to the journal, ignoring the light pain in his abdomen from his still healing wound.]

What a pain...

Guy, Asch, Natalia, I don't think I can make it back to the house. I'll just camp out or something, okay?

[Maybe he can find some marshmallows and make some awesome smores or something. Away from the sudden crowd.]

[Have a concerned teen standing over you. Hey, he can't help where he ended up wandering.]

Hey, man... You gonna be okay?

[Don't look now, Luke. There's something very tiny following behind you.]

[When he sits down, the little replica follows suit.]

You should make sure you have breakfast while you camp!

[It's a toaster. Hiding out next to you. Don't ask.]

[Luke's gut instinct tells him to say that no, he's not okay, and to snap his head away. But that's just irritability and he knows it, so he bites it down and rubs the back of his neck as he looks at the crowd still milling about.]

Y-Yeah, I think so... Everyone just showed up out of nowhere!

[You know what sucks? Finding yourself in a weird, new, fricking CROWDED environment when you're supposed to be reforming the Order of Lorelei! But you know what's worse? Having it snowing and cold and being in a goddamn DRESS.

But you know what's awesome? Plowing through the crowd and the snow atop a huge stuffed puppet. That's exactly what Anise is doing right now, shouting back at the people with enough gall to swear at her and Tokunaga.]

--SAME TO YOU, ASSHOLE!

[After Luke informs the rest of house 5, he tilts his head back against the wall and stares up at the sky with irritation. What a pain. WHAT A PAIN. WHAT A- Hey there's some green in the corner of his eye.

Luke glances down - Oh hey Ion - looks back at the sky-

...

And then DOUBLE TAKES.]

Ion?!

[That makes Luke look down at the toaster and raise an eyebrow. Did that toaster just...

... He feels a bit silly, so he looks back to make sure no one's watching before he leans over towards it a little.]

Uh... Did you just talk to me?

[Did someone say Luke because I could swore someone said Luke.

Van is looking down at you, mah boy]

[Well, he definitely recognizes that voice. He snaps his head up and peeks around the house to see just about what he expected to see. Oh boy... At least Anise found a new way to get through a crowd?

Luke uses the wall as support to stand himself up, then shouts after her.]

Anise!

[Luke just happens to see something out of the corner of his eye and as;ldfjasj;f.

He STANDS UP and places a good distance between himself and Van. What the- He's pretty sure he last saw you falling into the core.]

Master-?!

...Kinda like I did? [Yousuke rubs at the back of his neck as well, utterly lost.

He bends down near the red-head.] You know, I can, uh... [Heal a little? Would it even work outside the TV? And how is he supposed to just tell a random stranger that?] ...help you up. If you need.

[The tiny Fon Master nods with an equally tiny smile.] Fon Master Ion.

[A pause. Let's see what does he say next...? ] ...what is your name?

...Luke. Don't tell me you are hiding.

[Hey Luke, it's your bestest biffle Noct, leaning against that very same wall.]

What are you doing out here for? You didn't accidentally burn your house down trying to cook again, did you?

[... Well derp, that's kinda awkward.] ... Yeah.

[And Luke doesn't particularly want to stand up, considering that it hurt to sit down. But getting up and getting further away from the crowd is probably better than sitting all day, so he nods and shifts, and though he's accepting the help, he's still trying to get up by himself.] S-Sure, I guess... I can't hide out here forever!

You’re becoming more like your Father!

[How old is he now? Ten, maybe? Or, rather... a newborn? Luke's shock fades away, and he gives a smile, although it's slightly forced. He knows what this is like. This was what he was like not too long ago.]

I'm Luke. [He gently takes Ion's hand to shake it, then speaks a little slower than usual, though not enough that it seems ridiculous or anything.] It's nice to meet you.

I wasn't hiding, I was-

[He shakes his head and clenches his fists at his sides. Dammit, and he'd forgotten his sword...] ... What do you want?

[ IS IT SNOWING? WE HEARD THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE THAT THERE'S SNOW HERE IN LUCETI.

So it was only a matter of time before someone decided to start tossing it around. That someone just happened to be Asch. Snowball to the face, y/n? ♥ ]

Hey, if a bunch of people I didn't know started showing up where I lived I'd probably be weirded out too. [He's doing his best not to panic, really.]

[He offers the other teen a hand, then a shoulder if he needs it.] I'm Yousuke, but the way. Where should we go?

Luke. [He repeats it, letting Luke take his hand.] Luke. Nice to... meet you.

[He doesn't know what a handshake is, so he's not letting go of Luke's hand yet.] This isn't Daath?

Is there any harm in greeting my beloved student?

[OMG IT'S HIS BESTEST BEST FRIEND. Luke looks up sharply, thinking that this is Sync again, but- Trying to cook?

Luke has to smile as he stands up slowly.]

Noct! I... [Wait. He didn't hear anything about an experiment going on. Still, that last comment makes him put his fists on his hips with a glare.] I'm not that bad, jeez!

...

That isn't a compliment!
