[Luke had been trying to get back to House 5, but it's awfully hard to do so with a sudden crowd of people. There's a whole slew of sounds coming from the journal as if Luke's right in the middle of the crowd, along with Luke himself switching between trying to be polite and being outright indignant about being pushed through a sea of people. One can hear him saying "Excuse me" and "Sorry", along with "HEY" and "WATCH IT, YOU JERK".

Eventually, though, the noises fade as Luke escapes and slides down the wall of a house that he decided to take refuge behind. With a loud sigh, Luke straightens his jacket and speaks to the journal, ignoring the light pain in his abdomen from his still healing wound.]

What a pain...

Guy, Asch, Natalia, I don't think I can make it back to the house. I'll just camp out or something, okay?

[Maybe he can find some marshmallows and make some awesome smores or something. Away from the sudden crowd.]

[Luke stops for a moment to stare down at the mug in surprise, but then he relaxes and takes it, his expression softening to unspoken thanks before he takes a sip. He'd rather not sit if he doesn't have to.]

... Sorry. I just wanted to get outside for once.

[Asch studies his expression for a brief moment, then turns away to retrieve his own cup. It's not like he'd been making it specifically for Luke or anything.]

...You need to be more careful with your body. If you abuse it, it'll just break down.

[But he made an extra anyway, and it's still hot. The scolding makes Luke glance away, though. Yup, just what he expected. He was actually hoping to get back before anyone noticed, but, well...]

Like I said, I thought I was better. I didn't feel anything when I first went outside... [... But he's making excuses. What did Jade tell him about making excuses?] ... But I won't go outside again until I'm actually better. Okay?

[He doesn't sound happy about that, though. Why, why must he feel so cooped up?]

[Silence, again. Dammit, why is he the one who has to deal with this? He's not equipped for it at all.]

...It's not like I care. If something happened to you, Guy would make a big deal of it again.

[An itty bitty part of him doesn't believe that...

... But the majority of him does. So, he sags a little and hides that disappointed look behind his mug. It'd be nice if Asch actually let him know he was worried for once.]

... Yeah, I guess he would. [lol, he knows he would. He can't really remember what happened too well, but hoo boy. The parts he does remember make Luke completely believe Asch.]

If you know that much, then listen to my advice. Don't give him another reason to worry about you. [Sip. He really hates it when Guy gets too focused on Luke for whatever reason.]

Okay, okay, I'll stay in the house. I don't want to go back out there anyway. [He makes a face from behind his mug as he takes a sip and glances towards the door. When he walked outside it was just fine, but then just a little while later it was a madhouse.]

[Such a grumpy guy for someone who just got himself a nice cup of cocoa without even asking. Asch has other things on his mind, though.]

[This grumpy guy also had a run-in with another you, got yelled at by some crazy rabbit, was CAKEBLOCKED, and talked to Master Van, of all people. And a myriad of other things that he doesn't want to talk about.]

... Yeah, you're right. But then... why are they even here?

Maybe this is just another experiment... Maybe they won't stay long.
