[Luceti, you're about to hear a very nice singing voice.

Couldn't you just write it?

[Asch can't be as tired of it as Luke, though, who just wants to bash his head against the wall to make himself snap out of it. Instead, he just clears his throat and makes sure he isn't gearing up to sing before he talks again.]
I'm trying to cook for everyone here.

[Think, think, think... what kind of foods did Baticul import to Hod? Surely there's something they grow or catch that Guy's never had.]
...I guess we could try chicken miso. It's more of a Kimlascan dish.

Then let's try it! I don't think I know how to make that... [Well, he knows the basics from watching everyone else make it, but usually they don't let him try.]

You won't find it in a book, it's a Baticul specialty. Just look for a basic consomme broth and I can take it from there.
[Action]
O-Oh... Okay. [So, he'll settle on turning to look for the broth. Thankfully, he knows what consomme is from overhearing it a few times, otherwise he'd have no idea what the heck he's looking for.]

Did you find it?

Yeah. How much do we need? [He sets two cans down on the counter after digging around in the pantry a little bit, just in case they need more than one.]

Make enough for everyone. Whatever's left, we can put in the ice box. [Asch studies the recipe, brows furrowing for a moment before he decides it's acceptable.]
[Action]
O-Okay. [The kid's just ten years old and Luke still feels like Asch is the boss of him. Doesn't really surprise him, though; Luke is just seven-years-old and all. He rubs the back of his neck and glances at the recipe, trying to get a good idea of what he's making, then gets to work.]
