[Now that Luke can stay awake for more than an hour, he'd really like to get back to the people of Auldrant as well as the friends he made here in Luceti. He still can't hear anything, but... well, maybe no one has to know that. As long as they don't try talking to him, he'll be fine.
And being bedridden for these past few days has been extremely boring.
So, he grabs his journal and writes.]
Hey... I'm back.
[... Yup. Not much to expand on there. So let's go on.]
Anyone have any good stories to tell? Or... Actually, what's the most fun you've ever had? Here or in your world.

[Action]
Guy just stands and dusts the snow off of his pants, taking Luke's mug before holding out a hand to help him to his feet. Luke, actually, is right; he shouldn't be out much longer. In fact, it'd probably be good to bundle him up and get him into bed, just to be safe.]
[Action]
Luke takes the offered hand and... mostly lets Guy pull him up. Really, though he's not trying to show it, he's really tuckered out. But that doesn't mean he's gonna hold Guy's hand or lean against him or anything - no no no, he can walk inside himself.
He stuffs his hands in his jacket pockets and trudges inside, taking one last look at the snow as he does so. Luke's so focused on getting inside without stumbling or showing signs of weakness that he forgot all about the scarf and ear muffs still out there.]
[Action]
When he pauses Guy tilts his head in question. What's up?]
[Action]
Just thinking, I guess... Do you remember last time we goofed off in the snow? I think you ended up dumping a whole armful of snow down my back!
[Action]
Guy nods and nudges Luke again to try and bully him inside where it's warmer. They can reminisce all they want on the move, and Luke should get inside before he gets too chilled because someone is too stubborn to zip up his jacket.]
[Action]
... I think I threw ice at you. [And maybe he dropped some icicles down Guy's shirt first.]
[Action]
[Action]
... You know, if I get sick, I'm going to blame you for it.
[Action]
[Action]
[Luke's bratty side is starting to slip through, but that was definitely all Guy's fault. He didn't have to shove snow in his hair! Or retaliate in the first place. Stupid Guy.]
[Action]
like a good and proper mom.][Action]
...
But he'll still grip the towel to let it stay on his head as he follows after him
like a good and proper son. Even though he can't hear a sound, he still feels a little better when there's someone nearby, especially if it's someone he knows, and especially if it's one of his best friends. So, if Guy turns around, he'll find Luke leaning heavily on the doorway to watch what he's doing.]
[Action]
A bit concerned, Guy takes one of Luke's hands to check how cold he is before he heads off to retrieve a blanket and drape it over his shoulders. There.]
[Action]
And his arm, as he sticks it out to use it as a cushion to rest his head against the table.]
[Action]
He seems a despondent too, but Guy leaves Luke to sort it out as he stirs the soup and collects a couple bowls for them. He ladles out portions for the both of them, locates a pair of spoons and sets Luke's lunch in front of him before sitting across the table.
Guy waits for Luke before he starts to eat, though.]
[Action]
And really, Luke is pretty much always despondent unless something makes him happy. It takes him a moment to make himself sit up, as he was feeling pretty comfortable with his head down, but soon enough, he's up and eating.
After a few bites, he smiles and gives a thumps up - Guy made a good meal yet again, even if it is just soup. Luke's at least glad that there's variety in the soup he serves.]
[Action]
It's hard to talk to Luke -or write, rather- when they're eating so Guy hurries up and finishes, depositing his bowl in the sink. He leaves the table before Luke, but returns with a pencil and a pad of paper and scribbles something on it before showing it to Luke.]
How'd your talk with Asch go?
[Action]
Give him a minute while he coughs a little bit and wonders how in the world he got caught.]
[Action]
[Action]
Good. He's fine.
[He's not sure how much he should talk about, considering the subject matter and all. In fact, he's feeling kind of awkward, talking about Asch with Guy.]
[Action]
He didn't yell at you?
[Action]
He did at first, but that always happens.
[Action]
That always happens...even now. And here he thought that Luke and Asch had started to settle their differences; or maybe that was only with a Luke that remembered.
Still, Luke looks a little worried so he leans over to write a message and then turns the pad for Luke to read.]
I'm proud of you.
[Action]
I wanted to ask how he was doing, I wanted to let him know what was going on with me... but I also wanted him to talk to me in my head. I just... wanted to hear a voice.
It worked, Guy. It worked.
... And I think we're getting better.
[Action]
Is he still at that apartment?
