I'd give that a try, although they never seem to listen.

But if that doesn't work, maybe you could sneak out right before a storm! A typhoon works pretty well! ...just make sure you don't get caught in it yourself.

Yes, usually after a week they return. [You must be new here.] Even so, it's not right. They lose a part of themselves. Killing is never the answer.
