[It starts with a hum.
It isn't enough to be discernible. It may just sound like a buzz from an insect flying nearbyready to be swallowed. Swatting at it would yield no results, though, seeing how the hum is coming from his head.
It turns into a whisper.
They aren't really words. They're snatches of letters, snippets of thought that pass through his unconscious mind. A wind, of sorts, as threads of the link begin to tie together and come alive once again.
It ends with words.
Weak, scattered and quiet, it seems to be a stream that passes through, from replica to original, words that pour from a sleeping mind to the newly formed link. It comes from the north side of the village, the complete opposite direction from where the link first faded into nothingness.
But it's there. It's there like a beacon, pulling, asking for him to be there.]
"here.
i'm here.
i'mherei'mhereaschaschaschcan'tmovecan'twhereareyou
help me"
He's alive.
And he's calling for him.]
[It's about two hours after the sun sets that the journal comes on, showing a familiar redhead looking away and rubbing the back of his neck. The area is somewhat lit, and it looks something like the front of Good Spirits. He just needed light, that's all.
The reason he can't look at the camera? Asch had told him that his death was announced over the journals. He had a right to know, after all. Here Luke had been hoping to just announce he was back like he went on vacation or something, sickness gone, health returned. But now everyone knows that he died.
There's probably a lot of people out there who are mad at him.
But he does finally look at the journal after a few seconds, and he gives a nervous little smile.]
Uh... hey. I'm back?
[He hopes to hear from at least two people. And if he doesn't, and soon, then he'll find them himself.]
((And a belated NSFW alert for the thread with Xion 8|b))

[He's grinning, though, as he turns back around after sliding his sleeveless shirt on and leaving his other one on the floor like a man.]
[Action]
[God speed, Luke. God speed.]
[Action]
[Action]
[He'll just go ahead and walk over to the console and start messing around with it. He did this loads of times the last time he was in Luceti, so he should remember if he plays around with it for a little while ...]
[Action]
...
...]
You sure you know what you're doing? [Because that sure is a volcano he just punched in.]
[Action]
[And then he actually looks at what he punched in.
...
.......
..........
Give him a minute while he tries to change that.]
I did say I don't really remember, you know ... Man, how did I even do that, anyway?
[... It looks like he's getting an equally worse environment put in instead, though.]
[Action]
What the hell how are they supposed to fight there]
Uh... I don't know, but I think you're doing it again. Just... the opposite of volcano.
[Action]
Geez ... All right all right, let me try this one last time.
[Some more messing around, and he gets a new environment from his homeworld!
... Except it's not an environment made for fighting. Feel free to take over, Luke, it's pretty obvious Yuri both does and doesn't know what he's doing right now.]
[Action]
... All right, watch and... relearn, I guess.
[He steps up, waiting for Yuri to stop before Luke gives it a go. All right, this environment is much better: just a forest with lots of tall trees. He looks up at Yuri after that.]
How's that?
[Action]
[... He wants to complain and say that that's a totally boring location to spar in, but at this point, he was more annoyed with his inability to remember how to properly work the dome console.
So, he'll just shrug instead.]
Well, it's better than a volcano or the Blade Drifts, at least. [Or the Lower Quarter. That would've been an awkward location. But yes, he'll turn and start heading for the room they set up.] Let's go.
[Action]
[And when they walk in, it is indeed a dense forest with a canopy of treetops that practically cover the sky. As a result, it's pretty dark, and noises of simulated bugs and animals and monsters sound from all over. Luke looks around, a small smirk on his face as he rests a hand on the hilt of his sword.]
I thought it'd be less boring if we had to fight monsters in the middle of it, too.
[Action]
Yeah, I guess it helps. A little.
[He'll just get a better grip on the bit of rope he uses to carry his sword around. Depending on how aggressive Luke set those monsters to be, those things can pop out any minute.]
[Action]
You'll thank me later.
[And with that, the monsters tear from the bushes and rush at them. Luke himself pushes off and meets the one he's facing head on, sword against teeth.]
