021 [Action] Backdated to Christmas Afternoon :|

[Luke's in quite a good mood lately. Probably because of all the Christmas cheer going around. He's found that he rather likes the holiday, as it's a chance to give stuff to people without an explanation.

He can be found wandering around with a large bag slung over one shoulder, and more often than not, there's a smile on his face as well as a light, humming tune coming from him. He's pretty much the picture of someone really enjoying what Christmas is all about, and giving to people.

Speaking of which, he has quite a few things to give to his friends.

Paprika - She gets her gift first; After sitting on his bed and wondering how to give this to her, Luke leaves behind a nice big box of chocolates with a pink carnation on top, and both sit on his nightstand. Along with it is a small piece of paper he cut out of his journal - a calling card, if you will, with the demon symbol he always wears on his shirt drawn on it.
Yuri - A katana. With it is a little note: "Guy wields something like this. I know you'll take care of it, so I won't ask. Happy Merry Christmas!"
Lindsay - A cat brush. The note attached to it reads: "Having a cat with long hair has got to be hell on your clothes. Maybe this'll help out some!"
Hiccup - A pocket knife! Attached is a note that reads: "Just don't cut yourself, okay?"
Sokka - Okay bro you get a nice, big, pre-cooked whole chicken. Because you are a guy and you know the wonders of meat.
Nami - A little bag with what looks like ten gold coins. There's a number on them that looks like some inverted 500. Inside the bag is a note: "This is gald, the currency in Auldrant. This was in my pants pocket when I found them again. I don't really need them, and I know you'd like them."
Noel - Since it is also her birthday, Luke went and got two gifts: A big panda doll that comes up to his waist, and a snowflake necklace. Attached to the necklace is a note that reads: "This is the time that you were made, right? Well... I'm glad you're alive. So I want you to have this."
Mewtwo - A white scarf. At the end is that same demon symbol on his "card" to Paprika. Hey, he made it himself and he's very fond of it, okay.
Miyabi - A pot to grow bamboo in, as well as a few sticks of bamboo already growing in there.
Elicia - A coloring book! With princesses and knights and dragons! The ultimate coloring book. (yea)
Zack - You also get a nice, big, pre-cooked whole chicken. Along with a note that says: "No more kisses."
Kairi - An ankle bracelet with seashell charms. Attached to it is a note: "You all like things that have to do with the ocean, right? So... I was hoping you'd like this. Thanks for everything."
Roxas - Rollerblades! And the note attached reads: "I don't really know what these are, but you've got that wheel board thing, so maybe you'll figure these out too!"
Minato - New headphones! Attached to the band is a note that reads: "You wear these ear things all the time, aren't they kind of dirty by now? Here, have some new ones. Maybe you can tell me what they are, too!"
Ventus - Packets of hot chocolate! With marshmallows. Because hot chocolate is nothing without marshmallows. Also a mug to drink said delicious hot chocolate in, one he hopes has sort of Terra colors.
Giles - A small box with an assortment of tea packets. The note attached says: "I wasn't sure which one you liked, so I got you a whole bunch instead."
Lloyd - A small, yet somewhat powerful telescope. The note attached reads: "You look at stars and stuff, right? A friend of mine told me that every star is a world, so maybe you can look at them through here."
Emil - He gets a pocket knife similar to Hiccup's, though different in color, and a box of fig newtons. The note attached reads: "A friend gave me these. Try them, they're really good!"
Raine - Having her as a teacher makes him a little oblivious to what she might actually want. So, he ends up getting cookies from the bakery - light blue ones with powdered sugar dusted on them, giving them the illusion of snow. The little note here says: "Thanks for teaching me so much, professor."
Xion - A seed packet, one that has the name "Selenias" printed on it. The note reads: "I couldn't think of anything that could beat out your birthday present. But try planting these when it's warm enough. They're flowers from my world, and I think you'll really like them. I love you."

Asch - A nice sketchbook with good paper to draw on. And some charcoal. And some cherry cordials. With a small vanilla cake (from the bakery). Yup.
Tear - A purple pendant, with a specific purpose in mind. The note attached reads: "I know this isn't exactly like your mother's pendant, but... I noticed you didn't have it around anymore, so I thought I'd find something that looked like it. I know it's important to you."
Anise - A stuffed, dark brown bear that comes up to about Luke's waist, like the panda doll for Noel. Inside it is one gald coin, left over from what he gave to Nami, but he's not about to tell her that. He wouldn't want her to tear it apart just to get her hands on it.
Jade - ... Another nice, big, pre-cooked chicken. The note says: "I don't think I want to know what you want, so have some food instead?"
Natalia - A nice locket that he found. Attached is a note that says: "Now you can make whole new memories here. Put them here and keep them close to you, okay?"
Nephry - A snow globe! There's no Keterburg inside, but there is a random city with tiny, tiny people in mid walk. "Now it can snow here whenever you want it to!", the note says.
Ion - He gets the same thing as Mewtwo: a white scarf with that little demon symbol at the end. Everyone should have this symbol, it's the most awesome ever.
Ginji and Noelle - The two of them get remote control helicopters, since Luke wasn't lucky enough to find Albiore shaped ones. Ginji gets one with dark colors, and Noelle with white. The note attached reads: "Maybe you guys can figure these things out."
Gelda - He's run into the same problem as Raine - he isn't sure what exactly to get her. So she gets the same thing; light blue cookies with powdered sugar dusted on top. Though the note beside hers is different: "Thanks for putting up with me. We need to talk sometime outside of the classroom!"

Afterwards, he'll go straight home, because that took a while and he's cold. Feel free to catch him before he drops off gifts, during, or after! ooc: And if I missed anyone, please drop me a line! I have the worst memory ever, for serious.]

[Just as Luke is about to leave Noel's present... wherever around the front of her house, the door suddenly FLINGS OPEN and there.

And Luke JUMPS BACK and, while he isn't able to hide the panda doll that's by his leg, he does yank the second part of his gift behind his back. No, he has not wrapped any of these, because there's a lot of them and he doesn't want to spend time doing that.

But he was NOT counting on the giftee to catch him in the act, GDIT.]

Noel! C-Could you go back inside for a minute? I need to...

[Hiccup actually spots Luke making his way down the road from his favorite hang-out spot on the roof, and waves to his friend from up above. Even Toothless doesn't look completely displeased to see you! The Christmas cheer is palpable.]

H-hey! Luke!

[Why you gotta be like that, Toothless. LUKE LIKES YOU WHY CAN'T YOU LIKE HIM. 8(

But whatever, Luke is happy to see Hiccup AND Toothless, so he grins and waves up at them.]

Hey Hiccup, hey Toothless! [He turns and slowly lets the bag slide off his shoulder.] What're you guys doing up there?

[Oh hey there Luke, were you trying to be sneaky? Too bad, Ion totally saw you walking up the path to House One from the living room window. And... what's that he's got with him? HMMMM.]

[Of course, given how many people who'll be getting gifts live in House One, chances are Ion would have opened the door before Luke could escape in the first place... buut Ion will just open the door before Luke even gets there.]

Luke, what a pleasant surprise!

Luke freezes in his tracks, his grip tightening a little on the bag. After that, he lets out a sigh and hangs his head, then lifts it up to give an exasperated smile.]

I didn't want you to see me yet... Too late for that, I guess.

[She's smiling though.]

[He's already in House 1, and he's just setting out the gifts when Nephry catches him. DAMMIT.

He lets out a sigh, then turns to smile with exasperation.]

Yeah... I was trying to get all this done before anyone caught me.

[Oh hey Luke. Dropping off Yuri's present now, are you?

See, Yuri just so happened to be coming home from an early morning battle dome run, and since Luke's right there, he might as well find out why. You won't mind him coming up behind you to see what you're doing, right Luke?]

[Luke heard the footsteps coming up thanks to the snow, but he was hoping it'd be... you know, some other resident. Not Yuri himself.

DAMMIT.

The voice makes him jump a little and turn to face Yuri, still kneeling down in the snow, with his present hidden behind his back.]

N... Nothing, I... wasn't doing anything! G-Go on inside!

[Luke's finally finished, and he was lounging in his room for a few minutes when that message came. When he hears her voice, Luke gets off of the bed and leans over to look at the journal... only to smile. And blush a little. Looks like she found it.]

I... Y-Yeah. I'm... glad you like it.

[Gelda actually wasn't home when the gift was delivered. However, once she finds it a few hours later and reads the note, she immediately heads out again. This time, to try and find Luke. She'll head towards the apartment, but if she happens to run into him in the streets, all the better!]

[Luke was just heading back, empty bag slung over his shoulder and looking just slightly worn out. Walking everywhere in this weather can really take it out on you.

It's just as he's about to get to the bridge near his apartment that he notices Gelda there, and he smiles and gives a wave.]

[And what to his wondering eyes should appear, but a redheaded replica in a state of good cheer!]

[Ginji's outside his apartment building with a tub of steaming water and a shovel, trying to further clear the walkway and the area around it of ice and snow. He looks up when he spots him.]

Hello, Luke. Ah...be careful, though. It's still a little slippery through here.

[Yes, he did nearly fall a few times on his way here. Now that he's here, he's just sliiightly disappointed. He wanted this to be a surprise!]

[Luke maybe come right in time at the cherry tree to see the Lucky Mallet swing back, forth, back forth, and the tiny poncle grow larger and large under it. She seems to have her own bag of gifts to deliver, and she puts her fingers to her lips, perhaps to call an animal to help carry the load, but lowers her hand once she spies Luke there.

She also very bundled up, and seems to have a slight sniffle. That just goes to show how a blizzard can effect even one who's used to icy blasts like that.]

Luke! [Waving him over.] I didn't see you show up!

[Luke blinks and just watches the mallet, then Miyabi growing underneath it... and once she notices him, he lets out a sigh. Jeez, everyone's been catching him in the act so far...]

You weren't really supposed to. [He eases the bag off of his shoulder and sets it down on the snowy ground.] I thought I was good at being sneaky...

[Noelle is out and about herself, heading for some lunch at one of the restaurants, when she spots Luke on his way to hand out gifts. Neither she nor Ginji were the greatest cooks, after all. They'd spent a lot of their time relying on travel rations - dried fruit and jerky on the like when flying, and at home they could get food from others.]

[If he knew that... well. Luke wouldn't be able to do much about it. He's not much of a cook himself, and thus he usually eats out at Seventh Heaven, too. But anyway.

Once he sees Noelle, he grins and heads over, shifting the bag over his shoulder. With Noelle and Ginji, he doesn't mind too much, seeing how he hasn't included personal notes. That, and it's kind of nice to see how they look when they get their gifts.]

Noelle! Hey, wait a second, I've got something for you!

[As he handed out gifts, it's been a bit of a lighter load, but... it's still kind of heavy after carrying it for so long, so he lets out a huff of breath before he shifts the bag again.]

[Wow Luke, did you even bring the kitchen sink? That's a lot of stuff.]

What's with the bag?

[He just might have. And since Sokka's gift doesn't have a personal note or anything, he doesn't mind him being there so much to receive the gift. He lets out a breathy chuckle as he shifts the bag - it is pretty heavy after carrying it for some time now.]

They're presents! I don't think I can carry them all myself, so... I got a bag.

[Speaking of which, he lowers the bag from his shoulder and starts to dig around through it.]

Here, I got something for you too. Hold on a second...

[well, Minato happens to be out delivering gifts today, too. Not anywhere near as elaborately as Luke, but it's likely they'll cross paths eventually....]

[And, indeed, they do! Luke stops when he sees Minato, and he shifts his bag with uncertainty. His gift for Minato is slightly more personal than a few of the others, so he wanted him to just... find them. But maybe it'd be better to actually give them to him, now that he's here.]

Well, Ven's moseying around town, trying to catch up with his friends. He probably delivered some nice gifts... which will remain ambiguous as the mundane has no ideas at the moment.

Either way, that bag stands out! And Ven, being a curious dude, will hurry over to see what's up.]

[Luke's dropped off a lot of gifts already, so the bag isn't quite as heavy. A pain to keep carrying, but all the same. Now he's caught up with Ven, and he smiles widely with triumph. He was afraid he wouldn't catch the last few people he needed to get to.]

Ven! [He hurries his steps to a light jog.] I was looking for you!

Luke turns and tries to hide the gift behind his back, but. It's kind of hard with such a big doll, and the bears hands and feet still stick out.]

[Luke hasn't even heard the story of Santa. But he does grin when he sees Emil with a similar bag, knowing just what it's for, and he heads over to him upon being greeted.]

Yeah! I'm about halfway done right now... You're actually one of the people I'm looking for!

[Roxas didn't catch Luke in the act, but knows who those rollerblades are from. So he's going to make sure that he contacts him ASAP.]

Dude, where did you get these? I think they're rollerblades, by the way.

A-Anyway, they were in the shop! Just kind of hard to find, and there was only one set there...

[Just as Luke's about to drop off the presents at KH house, Kairi opens the front door and practically runs him over.]

Oh! Hey Luke, merry Christmas. What are you doing here?

[Kairi didn't hit Luke, but the surprise of her being there as well as his panic over her seeing the gift in his hand makes Luke practically fling himself back and land on his back in the snow anyway, bracelet clutched in his hand. O-Oh... jeez.]

Kairi! I, uh... I was... [He pushes himself back up, keeping one hand behind him.] Could... you go back inside for a minute?
