[Luke made sure to cover up the little camera that records his face as he writes, and he does so all the way until he shuts the journal. It seems that's all he's going to do.

Except a little while later, the journal's knocked open, and a broken pair of scissors that clatters against the floor near it proves to be the culprit. Luke himself... or, rather, Asch can be seen with his back to the journal in a community housing room while he stares intently at a mirror and tries to style his hair into something that looks a little more like himself. He had tried to cut his hair, but judging by the scissors, that proved to be a colossal failure. At the moment he has his bangs down in front of his face and brushing furiously, trying to get them to stay there, trying to look at least a little different-

But once he's confident enough to let go of the hair, it just springs right back into place on the top of Asch's head. Luke stares for a second... then buries his hands in his hair and ruffles it wildly with frustration, and he tips his head back to shout (with Asch's deeper tone):]

Damn it, why won't you stay down?!

[And, of course, once he jerks his hands out and gives the mirror a flat look, the hair springs back into place once more, looking as if nothing ever touched it except love and care. With that, Luke drops his head into his hands and lets out a long groan.]

I give up.

I know that, but... [Luke hasn't even been here for long, and he knows that this is one of the tamer ones. There was that Halloween one, when he was stuck in Asch's head for it. It wasn't as bad for him as it was for Asch, but still...]

... Never mind, I won't worry about it. [Though he probably will, the more people he sees.]

Yeah right. [...Sigh. Is he really going to have to get involved until Luke clues in that he needs to stay in contact? Guy's going to have a heart attack if he just disappears mysteriously, even with a note.]

Huh? But I left a note already... [In Luke's eyes... rather, in the time Luke came from, this should be enough for Guy to shrug and wait for him.]

[....You get a look for that, Luke. This is Guy we're talking about. You really think a pathetic note like that will be enough?]

... Except for lately. Upon that realization, Luke lets out a long sigh. Jeez...]

Okay, okay, I will.

[He hears that irritation, yep. Asch scowls, debating just ignoring it for a while, but the fact that it keeps coming up and Luke just doesn't get it... yeah. Bugging him. It's time to speak up. ...But locking this first, just in case.]

Stop acting like his attention is a bad thing, you idiot.

I'm not saying that it is.

No... [He looks off towards the wall at that. Dammit, Asch, this is the last thing he wants to talk about while he's like this.]

Guy wouldn't do it if it wasn't for a damn good reason.

[Asch's body or not, Luke feels like he has to know.]

What happened to me to make him suddenly worry when I'm not around for a day or two?!

[.....Yyyyeah, no. Guy would be Very Displeased if Asch spilled the beans. Thankfully there's a convenient way around this-]

Think about it. Guy's been here for years, and you only just arrived here a few months ago. How long do you think it's been since he last saw you?

[Yeah, that's what Guy said. But Luke feels like it's much more than that. He's not dumb. Still... he doesn't want to talk about this right now. Not in this body. Not with Asch.

So, keeping his expression guarded, he glances down at the floor again.]

... Yeah, okay, I get it. I'll keep in touch with him.

...Good. [That's all Asch needs to hear, anyway- his concern is less Luke's state of mind (though protecting that would be in his own interests as well) and more how the week would progress if Guy had no contact at all with Luke. He's fairly certain he'd go insane before the end of the week.]
