[Yes he did. Luke would rather tape his mouth shut, but it's hard to write for advice when one's trying to get ready to cook, as can be heard by the clattering of pots and pans.]

Yeah. Asch is from... back then, and Guy's... I don't know, four or five? You know how Asch always is around me, and Guy... cries. He cries a lot. [He's more astounded than annoyed by the last statement, really, even though it really does happen way too much, not that Asch helps matters.]

[Guy crying? That was unusual to her, but that clanging in the background is rather ominous. Please don't let it be what she thinks it is. Sure better him than Natalia, but still.]

So what is it you need help with?

[That light, slightly different sounding clang may or may not be Luke banging a pan gently against his forehead.]

I don't mind, I'm sure they've been a handful. [Luke as he was when they first met was a lot to handle.]

That's putting it nicely. [Not to mention that Luke's singing has been driving Asch up the wall and either calms Guy or sends him into a crying fit.]

[Luke takes that silence to mean that she's coming over, so he'll just try to get the cooking started. So, he'll get out a good sized pot and pan and set them on the stove while he flips through a recipe book that Guy has stashed around here. Auuugh, all these sound so complicated...]

[At the front door now, she'll knock and let herself in, since she assumes he's a little busy with the tykes right now.]

Luke...?

[It's TEEEAR! Luke looks up from the book and leans around the wall to look at her with a grin, although it looks a bit stressed. He's been trying to look after the kids for a few days now and all.]

[Hey Luuuuke she can't help smiling back because this is the first time she's actually seen him in a normal state since she got here.]

[But enough of that, they have a mission to accomplish, so she's making her way over.] Which task are you focusing on now?

[Luke acknowledges that fact too, which makes him go right up to give her a good hug. He's really missed her and all of his missing friends while she wasn't here, and while he totally would've visited her while she was... A lot of stuff happened to prevent that.

Once he pulls back, Luke takes a few steps back aaaand:]

Cookiiiii~ing dinner! ♪ [Yes, that was totally sung game-host style. Luke makes a face at himself over it, then gestures to the pots and pans.] I still don't really know what to make yet...

[Luke, you're really testing her emotional range. First there's being startled at the hug (though she didn't mind it at all really), now there's this face she's making at his singing. What next?

... So yeeeeeah, she'll be moving over to the cooking area.] Are you only cooking for Asch and Guy? We could start with one of their favorites.

For Natalia, too... But I don't think she'd mind if I made something they liked. Asch likes chicken, so I was thinking we could make something with that. [The fact that Luke also likes chicken has nothing to do with this, nothing at all.]

That sounds like a good idea, do you have all the ingredients ready? [Tear's not missing that hint Luke, she knows you better than that.]

No. I still haven't really picked what to make. [Which reminds him to keep flipping through the recipe book. Guy's more partial to seafood, so Luke's trying to find a good compromise between the two.]

Well, what do you usually eat and who makes it? [She has so many questions to ask him... But something says he'll sing all his answers. Not that he had a bad voice, it was just very unusual.
