[The view is nothing but the sky. The rain that falls on it. Blood staining the entire side of the camera.

The voice is shrill. Frantic. Trembling and pained.]

Suh - Somebody – I n-need a healer by the back of the Battle Dome right now! Asch is - hkgh -

[Then there's quiet muttering, as if he's speaking in a whisper to someone else. A whisper that cuts off for a moment, then turns into a hurt sound.

And then nothing else.]

[There--she was so caught up in looking after Luke, she didn't see Asch at all.

She closes her hand around Luke's for just a moment.] You need to rest. I'll look after him.

[She quickly moves around to Asch's side, and her hands glow with Nala's light. But soon, she realizes: it's not working.

She tries harder, putting more of herself into the magic. It has to work. She doesn't want Asch to be hurt any longer.]

[He doesn't listen to her. It's as if every part of him is telling him not to, that everything he has should be focused on his original.

It's why he doesn't rest, and instead keeps trying to heal him. But now, the light in his hand flickers out entirely, even as he keeps it outstretched. Even as the cringe of pain on his face deepens, trying to gather up more power. But he can't. He can't, but he has to...!]

[She keeps trying and trying, but...it doesn't work. She can't heal him.]

...Asch?

[...Maybe it's because not even Norma could heal him now.]

[When she says his name like that, Luke lowers his arm a little to stare up at her, cringe still present on his face. What... What does that mean? Why is she saying his name like that? Why...]

[She stops healing him and reaches out to gently, gently push at his shoulder.]

Asch?

[fabrecation]

[And there's no response from Asch. Just those empty eyes staring up at the sky, expression unchanging.

But now that Luke's stopped for just a second, his strength just fizzles out completely. His vision blurs, and he lets out a faint groan when the world spins from under him and makes him drop his head to the ground.]

[Asch is....

She should feel sad. Asch is her friend. He's Stella's friend, too. He's a nice person and...and very young. So why does her sadness feel so far away? Why does everything feel so far away?

Slowly, she reaches out to close his eyes--then stops when she hears Luke make a sound. She turns away to take hold of his shoulder instead.]

Luke, what's wrong?

[No matter what he'll say, she starts healing him again. He's someone she can help now.]
