[The view is nothing but the sky. The rain that falls on it. Blood staining the entire side of the camera.

The voice is shrill. Frantic. Trembling and pained.]

Suh - Somebody – I n-need a healer by the back of the Battle Dome right now! Asch is - hkgh -

[Then there's quiet muttering, as if he's speaking in a whisper to someone else. A whisper that cuts off for a moment, then turns into a hurt sound.

And then nothing else.]

[The action makes something snap in Luke, even with him being nearly ready to pass out. It's the fact that it's so final, and how he can't see his eyes, eyes that are identical to his own, save for how lifeless they are compared to his frantic ones. He wants to see the light in his eyes again, and he can't if he - ]

Wh-Wha - Sss-Stop! You...

[Looking at these two, they are very alike... and though Prince has a twin, he can only imagine the pain of losing him. But there is nothing left to be done for this man.]

Don't. Just... don't.

[He doesn't seem all that likely to listen. This man is suffering, but he will only bring more hurt to himself.]

[And, true to Prince's thoughts, Luke does not listen. Well, he does, but only enough to decide that he can't possibly understand, that he needs Asch to be alive, he needs him to open his eyes.

Xion's holding him back, but he still lets out a very quiet and weak cry as he pulls himself as much as he can, reaching out for his original, trying to open his eyes again, his hand glowing to try to heal him again. He has to try, he has to try.]

[... It was hopeless. Luke was not going to listen, and Asch was not going to recover. And if Luke kept trying to heal him, he wouldn't heal either. It was one thing to be emotional at the death of someone close to you, it was another to forget about the other people who care about you and throw your life away. This had to stop. There was only one thing left to do.]

I'm sorry.

[Crouching down, Prince slid his arms under Asch's legs and shoulders and straightened up. Honestly, not the heaviest thing he's lifted, but the emotional weight makes him almost impossible to carry.]

[That probably wasn't the smartest thing to do, really. His eyes go wide, and then he uses whatever energy he has to wrench himself from Xion's hold and get up to his knees, grabbing at Prince's shirt with an expression full of rage, unable to really think of what he's doing or saying.]

What the hell are you doing?!

[Yeah, Prince is an idiot. But he's a responsible, caring, emotional idiot.]

I'm not going to let you throw your life away. How would the people who care about you feel if they knew you had done that? How would he [Prince gestures at Guy, lying by Mia and Ion.] feel, waking up to that? Let these people heal you before you try anything.

[Prince tugs loose of the injured warriors grip.] I'm not moving him far, but it's important that you leave him to those who can help him.

[He isn't listening. His emotions are haywire, his mind can't even begin to process what's going on around him. All Luke knows is that this person is carrying Asch and taking him away and he can't do that.

So when he tugs loose, Luke lets out a loud growl and surges forward, grabbing again, trying to make him let go - he can't take Asch away! All he's running on is adrenaline, energy that's wearing thin very fast. Let him go let him go no no let him go!]

[Oh, great. The injured man is running. Prince's hands are full, so he can't draw his sword, and he refuses to run. Prince couldn't bring himself to kick a wounded man, either... Instead, he sidesteps Luke's initial charge, turning to face him.]

Stop it! you'll only hurt yourself more!
