[Asch rests his hands on the table, leading in close to catch Luke's gaze and - hopefully - hold it. His expression is serious, firm, and unwavering.]

[He straightens up again, crossing his arms, though his eyes don't leave Luke's face for a moment.]
The past or the future doesn't matter. What's important is now. Maybe I died, and maybe you'll die- but it's not now. Don't waste your time moping or feeling sorry for the dead when they're alive and right in front of you.
