[Luke is silent for a minute or two as he stares down at the floor and thinks of the happier memories of Guy. How they'd push each other around playfully; Luke would be heading to the bathroom and Guy would rush in and lock the door just before Luke reached it, only to receive a slap on the head once he came out again. Guy would tease Luke, earning a good tackle to the waist, leading to wrestling in the hallway and Asch yelling at them at them to shut up.
How Guy comforted him at the worst of times; holding him tight when Luke broke down during the draft and holding his hand until he managed to fall asleep. Assuring him that it didn't matter what age Luke really was, that he'd always be his best friend, and letting him sleep with his head on his stomach.
How he'd poke his head around the door Luke glanced up at now and ask what he wanted for dinner.
It was enough to make tears spring up in Luke's eyes, and he turned his head away as if to hide them from Paprika, even though the angle of the journal wouldn't allow her to see them anyway. This was still too raw - maybe he could try later, when he wasn't still reeling from the sudden disappearance of the one person he could really be himself around, even the rough, ugly sides.]

... I don't think I should try right away.
